What is it about?
Are you looking for new ways to help your coachees, teams and managers to better understand themselves and others and to develop strategies for successful collaboration and leadership?
The persolog® Personality Factor Model describes – pragmatically and scientifically based – human behaviour on the basis of the four behavioural dimensions Dominant, Influencing, Steady and Cautious in a specific environment. These behavioural dimensions and their combinations provide insights into personal strengths, goals and needs. They reveal development opportunities for constructive and productive co-operation with others.
Unlike other personality models, this model is located in the area of situation‒theoretical approaches It describes situational behaviour („This is how I am likely to behave in environment X“). It doesn’t claim to identify personality traits and categorise people (‘That’s how I am!’).

Read more about the Model:
The persolog® Personality Factor Model is based on the research work of the psychologist William Moulton Marston as well as the approach of C. G. Jung, which describes the way in which people fulfil their motivational needs in certain situations.
Building on this, Prof. John G. Geier (behavioural and communication researcher and Professor of Behavioural Sciences and Communication at the Institute for Health Ecology, University of Minnesota) developed a method in 1969 with which individual behavioural styles could be analysed immediately and are easy to apply in practice. Among other things, he saw this as a solution for adapting learning to the individual and promoting self-knowledge.
These findings form the basis of the persolog® Personality Factor Profile, which has been used since 1972 (at that time under the brand name DISC® Personality Factor Profile).
Since 1990 Persolog GmbH (formerly DISG Training GmbH) is continuously developing this pragmatic yet scientifically sound approach and has been using this model to support people in their personal development in over 30 languages.
The persolog® Personality Factor Model is adapted to the multi-layered structures of modern organisations. Using the language of the model, your participants will learn to sharpen their own perceptive skills and to describe their own behaviour and needs as well as those of others without assigning blame.
Objectives
The Certification in the persolog® Personality Factor Model provides you with tools to analyse, understand and train the uniqueness of other people and their behaviour in different situations, e.g. to discover and develop potential, bring clarity to conflict situations, equip managers and support teams in repositioning themselves before upcoming changes.
You will gain confidence in communicating the interrelationships of the model and will be able to answer questions about the profile analyses and interpret the results. You will receive concrete ideas on how you can usefully integrate the findings into your coaching sessions, workshops and seminars.
